The paper should be in MLA format, 12 font size, Times New Roman, double spaced.
Novel: “Heart of Darkness”
1. Should have a solid thesis statement: Structure for Introduction as follows.
Introduction: Introduce the author Joseph Conrad (background and works) leading up to an introduction of what the paper is about. Please make sure to narrow your focus to three main points that will be presented throughout the paper. The thesis statement should include the three points and you will also use them to start each body paragraph. Since it’s a long detailed paper, introduction should be at least a full page or more.
2. Please use valid sources from google scholar or universities and also recent ones (not 10 years ago). No magazine articles. Please cite and reference the sources you will be using throughout the paper. The sources should be a total of 15 altogether and since there will be three main body paragraphs for the paper, you can do five sources each paragraph. Be specific and never forget to reference and cite please.
3. Structure throughout the paper should look like this:

Introduction + thesis
Body Paragraph 1
– topic sentence
– paragraphs should tie to the thesis and topic and 5 sources
– Please don’t lose focus on what your thesis is focusing on
Body Paragraphs 2 and 3
– should be the same as paragraph 1
Conclusion
– This should be a brief summary of the paper overall. Re-state the thesis, summarize what each body paragraph stated and prove why your points should be considered. To win the audience and the readers, please refrain from using fluffy words that are not related to what you’re discussing in the paper. Conclusion should be straightforward and unique in a way that will make the readers want to read again and again. Make sure to end your paper on a great note and not leave the readers guessing and wondering.
