Students should submit a final paper of 8-9 pages double spaced in length. The papers should be research-based. It is assumed that
students would display an interest in one of the topics relating to diplomacy and
international negotiation that was studied in this class.
Instructions from myself:
I would prefer if the paper’s topic was relatively broad. The midterm paper was 4-5 pages with the same instructions. I wrote about how presidential term limits in the United States affects international negotiations. There is no specific topic assigned for this paper, however, to give the writer an example of a proper topic, cultural differences between nations and how they affect international negotiations would work. The professor is a former member of the United Nations so I would like the paper to avoid business negotiations and focus on negotiations between nations.
