A 10-12 page double spaced research paper that will use course materials for the exploration and analysis of a question or a case study that you find compelling.
The paper must have an argument and an explanation for why this argument is worth making, and must locate and use effectively two types of sources: primary sources (typically, sources that will provide you with the empirical details of your case study) and secondary sources (sources you can turn to when developing your analysis of the empirical material—course readings will fall into this category).
