Background: A prospectus is a document created to describe a major work that is forthcoming; its purpose is to inform and, hopefully, attract interest. As you begin to research, avail yourself of the resources provided in this module, such as the SCC Library’s Research Tutorials: https://libguides.scc.spokane.edu/tutorials/help (Links to an external site.)
Purpose: To demonstrate to your instructor that you 1) are conducting focused research at an academic level 2) are able to articulate significant information about your topic, including problems and specific detail 3) have gathered scholarly and professional resources, and 4) you can follow MLA format for documentation of sources.
Task: Create a Research Prospectus according to the attached document: 102 Research Prospectus Assignment W22-R1.docx Download 102 Research Prospectus Assignment W22-R1.docx
Submit your prospectus to this assignment as a Word document by the due date. Your prospectus will contain the following information (directions are on the above-attached document):
A description of your overarching research problem or the question that you are addressing at this point in your research process. This will likely have shifted from your original research question.
A claim about why your topic is significant or relevant.
An explanation of how far along you are in your thinking and research; what more you expect to discover; as well as a possible working thesis statement.
A working Works Cited of at least five sources you are currently considering along with a brief annotation for each source that offers a general idea about the information you’ve already gleaned from that source.
Additional Notes:
Keep in mind that the work you are doing now will be used in upcoming assignments, such as the Annotated Bib.

the feedback for the privacy assignment
I can see that you have offered this topic thought, but I am confused about the research question. What, specifically, are you asking? The objective and summary offer some specifics (such as Facebook), but again, there are some clarity issues. Work on clearly stating ideas.
As you move forward, it will be useful to work with a librarian in order to identify the best databases for your specific topic as well as to develop search terms likely to be the most fruitful in those databases. Keep in mind that the majority of sources must be scholarly/academic and be found using the SCC Library databases. and I upload privacy assignments too.
