Working in an Early Childhood Industry.
My issue is about Early Childhood Educators are not allowing children the freedom to explore freely by taking risk. My study will focus on finding out what are the challenges and constraints that Early Childhood Educators face in allowing this to happen. My goal is to find out the factors that is hindering Early Childhood Educators from incorporating risk and freedom of play to children in Outdoor play. My research will also help to recognise the support that Educators need in order to encourage children to explore safe risk independently and within their own capabilities and also understand the importance to incorporate risk in outdoor play.
I have sent out survey questions which I have also attached for you to see. Unfortunately, I do not have much responses. However, you may see from the survey questions to get a better understanding on the direction I am heading. PLanning to have at least 8-10 reresponses from a variety of preschool educators with the experience of more or less than 4 years.
