Research and select a respiratory disease that has a significant impact on society and the health care industry. Examples are tuberculosis, bronchitis, asthma, influenza, or a respiratory illness that is currently prevalent. Please format as an Essay.
Write a 700- to 1,050-word essay paper. Please format in APA format. See “sample APA paper” in the library
Your paper should:
Describe the respiratory disease you selected. (Include pathophysiology, risk factors, signs/symptoms, prognosis)
Describe the treatments used to treat the disease.
· Consider holistic and traditional treatments.
Identify the disease type (primary, secondary, or tertiary) for the respiratory disease. How is this disease cared for? Define and review the definition of primary, secondary, and tertiary care and explain what type of care this disease requires.
· Describe why the respiratory disease is classified as the disease type you identified.
Describe what impact the respiratory disease you selected has on society as it relates to the business of health care and the use of resources.
Cite at least 2 reputable references. Reputable references include trade or industry publications, government or agency websites, scholarly works, a textbook, or other sources of similar quality.
