Review some of the main reasons states choose to engage in international organizations despite relinquishing some autonomy. Choose 3 or 4 reasons states do this. Then choose a particular states engagement with any organization, its reasons for doing so, and the outcome of the particular engagement. E.g., you could choose the states desire to engage in pooling in some organizations or collective security in alliances. Then you could choose to look at, say, Greeces engagement with the IMF, its reasons for doing so, and how it ended up after the involvement of the organization.
