At this point, you should have read up through chapter 4 of Rez Life. For your reading response, you should write 2 – 4 paragraphs (or about a page, double spaced) that address one of the following prompts:
1) Choose one sentence, paragraph, or scene from the book thus far that stood out to you in some way. What made it stand out? Was it the writing style? The content? The way you related to it as a reader? In your reading response, expand upon and break down what made this moment a memorable piece of writing for you.
2) Relate Treuer’s memoir to one or more concepts we’ve discussed in class thus far in the semester (for example: truth, literacy, or rhetoric), and write about how Treuer’s work extends, complicates, validates, or relates in some way to that concept.
