Choose metaphors, analogies, or other figurative language used when expounding on parts of both speeches. Keep in mind the audience, the purpose of the speech, and the tone used in both speeches.
2. Examine the views of Dr. Martin L. King’s I Have a Dream Speech and compare it to today’s society-Is the ‘dream’ still alive? Support your answer with 2-3 articles. (Choose specific events in today’s society: BLM, Social Injustice, Non-violent demonstrations, etc).
3. Views of Malcolm X’s Ballot or Bullet Speech and Homemade Education (Focus on education or “reeducation,” as described by Malcolm X; The School to Prison Pipeline; Retention and Failure Rates in schools, etc.)
