This is an acceptable topic. I would caution you that the law regarding copyright infringement in this manner has evolved quite a bit since the time of that lawsuit. You may wish to include in your analysis your thoughts on how the case might be determined today under the standards more often used in recent cases such as those involving Katy Perry, Led Zeppelin and Ed Sheeran.
