1) In 2016, the election of real-estate developer—Donald J. Trump—was supposed to usher in a new era of a business approach to governing. What happened and why? In 2020, the election of career public official Senator Joe Biden —was supposed to return the federal government to a period of “normalcy” with a seasoned and tested public servant who knows how Washington DC works. What happened and why?

2) An easy example to measure is the Trump administration’s response to the COVID-19 crisis but besides the tragedy of a global pandemic can you think of any other successes or failures of the Trump Administration that can be attributed to the approach of running the government like a business?
