imagine you’ve been hired to rewrite the ending of of “Pulp Fiction.” This happens all the time in Hollywood. The key here is you need to understand the script up till the very end (meaning you’ve carefully read the whole script), you understand the characters and their motivations, and you can adapt your writing of both the action and dialogue to the original writers’ rhythms. All those parts are essential — especially the dialogue. Don’t write in your voice — write in the voice the original writers use and adapt/customize that voice for each character based on how those characters have been speaking in the script up till the end. Write 2 pages of a new “Pulp Fiction” ending in proper script format
