Topic: Elwood Shannon and Warren
Weaver and their Shannon-Weaver information model. I plan to start with a well
written introduction that introduces the subject of information science. The
introduction will also include the two individuals and the name of the model
they invented for information science. After the introduction I will continue
into the first body paragraph. I plan to use this first body paragraph to
introduce Claude Elwood Shannon. I will talk about demographics, family
history, upbringing, education, etc. I will then go into the second body
paragraph. In the second body paragraph I will introduce the second individual,
Warren Weaver. In this paragraph I will talk about Warren Weavers demographics,
family history, upbringing, education etc. My next body paragraph will be about
the Shannon-Weaver information theory model. I will include details about how
it came about, the steps in the model, and more. My last paragraph for this
research paper will be a conclusion. I will use this paragraph to bring my
paper to a close and summarize my research.
Introduction: Information Science can
be dated back all the way to the 17th century. Along the way many
intelligent individuals have contributed to the concept. The two individuals
who made the biggest contributions in Information Science were Claude Elwood
Shannon and Warren Weaver. These two men brought out the idea of the
Shannon-Weaver information theory model.
