Short essay with intro thesis & paragraph

Look over your reading log and the 3 works you read for this lesson.
“My Name” by Sandra Cisneros (cite by page number and use 1)
“Names” by Teresa Mei Chuc (cite by line number)
“Two Names, Two Worlds” by Jonathan Rodríguez (cite by line number)
Choose one of the works and write a short essay response using one of the following prompts:
A. Describe a connection you felt to the author (Cisneros) OR one of the poets (Mei Chuc or Rodríguez) regarding identity or names.
OR
B. In each work we read here, the first-person speaking is actually writing about their own experience and identity. Choose one of the works and describe, with evidence, what we learn about the author (Cisneros) or one of the poets (Mei Chuc or Rodríguez) and how their name connects them or contributes to their identity.
Make sure you respond to only one prompt but provide a complete response.
You can choose your length but remember an essay has an introduction with a thesis, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Develop your ideas.
Type your response into a program that allows you to save the file as a Word doc or PDF. Don’t just type into the response box or you won’t get direct feedback.
Cite using the instructions and examples from Lessons 2, 3, and 4. You need parenthetical citations but do not need a Works Cited for my class.
Name your file FA1_yourlastname and save it as a Word or PDF and attach it.
Do not email me the assignment. Attach it here.
