Should the US Supreme Court rule to make the South Asian caste system a protected category?

The Annotated Bibliography should explain your research. It should show that you have carefully vetted the sources you will use, and it should explain your reasoning for selecting them. Remember, in order to put together the final assumption to help answer your large inquiry question, you will need to explain how you arrived at the assumption. Remember, this is a written assignment in a second level writing course and the wording, sentence structure, clarity of the summary, the logic of how it connects to your questions and your paragraph organization will all be graded.

Follow these steps to create your Annotated Bibliography:

List at least 7-8 sources you have found to gather information to help explain your smaller inquiry questions. Each of these sources should be making a contribution that will help you form an assumption and eventually provide a unique answer for the large inquiry question you are creating an argument to defend. Remember to use a variety of sources that you vet to be sure they are appropriate for academic use. This could be a news clip, a video, a TedTalk, or a personal interview with someone with first-hand knowledge. You should use at least 3-4 sources from a the list of the 12 Best Academic Research Sources which include: Google Scholar, JSTOR, Library of Congress, PubMed Central, Google Books, Science.gov, Digital Commons Network, Research Gate, WorldCat, SJSU University Library, The New York Times, Lexus Nexus, Academic Search Premiere.

Follow these Instructions:

1. Create you Works Cited List showing careful use of MLA documentation. Be sure that your citations are correct.

2. Under each source, write 1 paragraph of summary. Be sure to use reporting verbs, the author’s last name and tell the main points. The summary should be a fully developed paragraph.

3. Then write a paragraph of logic explaining how the source provides information to help answer your small and main Inquiry questions. You should also list any source agreements that you see (synthesis). This paragraph should include your logic about the validity of the source and what it specifically provides towards making an assumption regarding both the large and smaller inquiry questions.

Your Annotated Bibliography should contain 14-18 carefully written paragraphs and will be graded on how well you follow the 3 steps listed here.
