The extended essay is an independent, self-directed piece of research, finishing with a 4,000-word paper. One component of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) core, the extended essay is mandatory for all students.Remember that an extended essay will be longer and more complex than a shorter weekly essay. It is therefore essential to provide a strong, clear structure to show the development of your argument and remind the reader of its relevance to the question at every stage of your essay writing. I have attached my first draft which is missing a lot of content and it is not structured properly but it has research information that the writer can use for the paper. I also added the content table in my first draft file so that the writer knows what to add in the essay and added a sample essay file so that the writers knows the structure of the essay.
