Each student will conceptualize, design, and (only if possible) make an original skateboard deck that demonstrates evidence-based design. By adhering to a need to improve functionality, sustainability, performance, and/or simply design a deck as a work of art each student will investigate the skateboard and its evolution.
All students should consider the skateboard and its connection to the built environment and investigate the following attributes (shape, materials, traction, design, artwork, and performance)
