Activities: skills I have learned
Art 13 – 3d design class – was one of the first classes I took when I first joined SJSU. It taught me skills of creating 3d artwork using different materials. It inspired me in my graphic design work.
Took 4 photography classes. Achievements: Contributed to two photography exhibitions at SJSU, Taste of home and Mental state Exhibition. – how photography enhances my skills in design.
DSGD 197 BA Senior project class is a significant class where I learned a lot of skills (teamwork, printing, making booklet, branding, etc…)
Elaborate on these skills: teamwork, organizing, quick learning, initiating new ideas, adaptability and flexibility.
Work experience:
I got my first job during my college years, I worked in the cafeteria. Although the job is not related to design, I got many experiences from the job. Especially listening skills. I think it is crucial when you know how to listen and understand what your clients want as you work as a designer.
Motivation:
Why I want to continue studying for an MA in design.
Future career plans:
How the degree will help for my career path- graphic designer.
