Compose a 4-page narrative that does three things:
Explain why you find the topic, issue, or question interesting enough to devote a whole semester to learning about it. Create a knowledge inventory of what you already know or believe about the topic, as well as what other people know and believe about the topic and to the very best of your ability, note how you know these things/where they came from. End by posing a series of good-faith questions about your topic that stem from your discussion for which you do not know the answer or do not understand what seems to be the answer—at least 5, but the more the better.
