you can follow some or all of the guidelines below to assist you as you write:
Every character should want SOMETHING (even if it’s just a glass of water)
Try to use settings that you know or can picture well.
Throw obstacles in the characters’ way (anything from a stubbed toe to a tornado)
Let the characters make mistakes (because if they don’t, how will they ever grow?)
Make sure there is someone for the main character to interact with
Final stories should be at least 2000 words double spaced, but feel free to make them longer!
