The assignment this week is to research census data to assist our clients in making some practical decisions about the market. You should have read about NAICS codes this week. Now you get to put what you learned to practical application.

This is the location for the NAICS codes that represent the retail industry. This table represents McLennan County data only. If for some reason you are on a page that says anything other than McLennan County, Texas under the Geographic Area column on the far left, you are on the wrong page!
Please look up send a report that addresses the following for a variety of our clients.
1. Our furniture store client wants to know how many competitors they have selling Furniture and Home Furnishings (category 442).
2. He is also curious about the total number paid employees working in Furniture and Home Furnishings stores in McLennan county.
3. If Superior chair were to put a display in each of the Office Supply and Stationery stores, how many would they have to create?
4. The Humane Society might be able to host adoption events at Pet Stores. How many pet stores are there?
5. Geno wants to know the total sales for all Food and Beverage stores in the county since he is now considering opening a store in addition to his restaurant.
