First, describe bitcoin as the authors do. According to this article, what is bitcoin?
Second, summarize the arguments that these authors make about the potential impacts of bitcoin on the world’s political economy. Be sure to address these questions: according to these authors, how are bitcoin and other digital currencies supposed to differ from existing state currencies? Why would bitcoin be considered “apolitical?”
Finally, provide and support an opinion on this question: Is bitcoin apolitical or “less political” than existing state currencies? You may want to summarize what the authors say on this point and agree or disagree with them.
