Pick any topic we have covered up to week 5 syllabus is attached. Then, find a journal article from a reputable journal (Journal of Developmental Psychology, Journal of Autism, Journal of Child Development, etc). You can use Google Scholar or the library at NEU.
– read the article and take notes. Be sure you can summarize it / understand it and that it applies to something we have discussed so far this semester.
– Write a 1 – 2 page summary of the article using critical thinking skills to then apply it (compare, contrast, synthesize, correlate) the material from the article to the material in the textbook.
– Be sure to use APA format (12 point font, double space, page numbers). No abstract is required.
– Be sure to have a title page and a reference page so I can see what the article was (and where it was from) that you selected.
A rubric is posted so you can see what will be evaluated and considered for your grade.
