We best witness to the changing of history remembering places where we were born
to which we can never return
We bear witness to shifting movements
remembering moments etched on cave walls buried in our past
We beat witness to memory housed in stories
whispered through tongues of laughing stones
their voices quite with indiscretion
We best witness to change
remembering our original being
her journey from here to now
Knowing that in our fingertips
history sleeps yet to be formed
