System Thinking

Question 1:

In Systems Thinking, we analyze the relationships between the system’s parts to better understand a situation. By examining the interactions of the parts of the system, we are then able to see larger patterns emerge. When we examine the patterns, we can then begin to understand how the system works. If the pattern is beneficial for the organization, we would then want to find ways to reinforce the pattern by making decisions that support it. If the pattern has a negative impact on the organization, we would want to find a way to make changes to the pattern.

Team, how do we change negative patterns?

Question 2:
Let’s discuss the role a leader plays within the organization/system.
Is there a time when the leader should work harder or less efficient than the sub-systems within organization/system?
