Students will be given a data set. Based upon the data, students will develop a Teacher Empowerment
Professional Learning PowerPoint presentation. The presentation will be no more than 20
slides, including a title slide, reference slide with 3-4 references, and presenter’s notes. The presentation
design should offer school leaders evidence-based strategies for creating a professional
learning climate for sustaining high-quality teaching and student learning. The presentation should
include evidence-based professional learning practices (i.e., embedded/hyperlink videos, articles)
for supporting teachers. The information presented must support “the why” linked to data (e.g.
teacher working conditions survey, NC Report Card, SIP, master schedule) from the school, you’ve
been assigned
