Choose a textile type of leather or type of fur to research. Present your findings both in text and visually.
Textiles:
Research a manufactured, trademarked fiber. Your presentation should be the equivalent of approximately 5-10 slides long. It should include the following information:
Name and images of fiber producer, microscopic images of fiber and fiber structure,
The properties of the fiber and how it is produced. Include images.
How the fiber’s structure contributes to those properties. Include images.
Examples of how the fiber is merchandised and marketed. Include images, and trademark logos or trade association logos if available.
Examples of its end uses. Include images of the product being used in apparel. Images of non apparel uses can also be included.
Cite all sources and URL addresses for information and for images.

Leather & Fur:
Research the production of a specific type of leather or fur (eg: mink, stingray, etc.)
Is the leather or fur process trademarked? Include images of trademark logos if available.
Describe the unique properties or aesthetics of the particular leather or fur. Include images of the leather or fur.
Describe the production processes. Include images of the processes.
Provide information on how the leather or fur is merchandised and marketed. Include images of trade association logos if available.
