1. From each of the first two selections–by Dorothy Dix and Charlotte Perkins Gilman–identify two specific connections you see to Edna’s experience in the novel and explain the connection you see (that is, two ways in which each selection sheds light on the novel, with specific references).
2. Of the reviews included in pp. 180-197: identify one review/claim/argument about the book that you find persuasive and/or agree with and one that you find unpersuasive/disagree with; explain why in each case.
