Pick one subject of interest to you, find a connection to organic chemistry, explore that connection over 3 typed pages (normal margins, normal font style; 1.5 line spacing please). Make an attempt to make it flow well, do proofread for typos and obvious errors, include a list of sources used, but don’t get lost in the details. Points will be lost for: incorrect chemistry, papers shorter than 3 typed pages (or longer than four), papers that read like they were written to satisfy a course requirement rather than an opportunity to explore an interest, papers that fail to report at least three sources.
The topic that I chose is the chemistry of enamel decay. The course being taken is organic chemistry. I would like for it to include factors that cause tooth decay and along with the chemical reactions that take place in order for decay to happen.
