Step 1 Identify a community setting.
Review the various settings where community health nurses provide services. Some examples include home health; Women, Infants, and Children (WIC); corrections; school health; and a faith-based community. Choose one setting you are interested in learning more about.
Step 2 Create the presentation.
Develop a 4- to 6-slide presentation with presenter’s notes written in APA 7.0 formatting style that describes the following:
The setting you chose
The community health nurse’s role in the setting; include the roles of advocate, educator, and epidemiologist.
Make sure that you properly cite any sources used in APA 7.0 format style and include a reference slide.
Step 3 Add presenter’s notes.
Include talking points and details in the notes area for each slide. These notes should document what you would say to an audience about each slide if you were to present in person.
You will not be able to see your presenter notes after you upload the presentation. Don’t freak out. I will be able to locate them if you created them.
