Imagine the world 100 years in the future (i.e., it is the year 2121). What has happened in terms of the environment, and why have those changes occurred? For example, if you state that the climate is about the same as it is today, tell me what we did specifically to stop further climate change; if you tell me that people need to use radar to see where they are going because the smog is so bad, tell me what we did or didn’t do that has allowed air pollution to get worse. Be sure to base your essay on facts learned in class, and to provide in-text citations and references for those facts. (i.e., this is not an invitation to write science fiction. You must have concrete, reasonable explanations for your predictions). Remember that the purpose of this essay is to demonstrate your understanding of what you have learned in this course.
