Topic: The “Golden Age” of TV after World War II led critics to identify many threats brought by this new medium. They claimed that TV threatened to undermine literacy, created a generation of passive spectators, and replace serious culture with a “vast wasteland” of trivial entertainment. Critics were especially concerned about the possible effects of TV on children, fearing that it might delay their development of reading skills, and that they might spend all of their time being entertained by TV, neglecting serious activities and friends.

Sources: I am going to want to see some (full-length)
books in the List of References or
Works Cited section at the end of your paper.
Online Journals are another good place to search. Wikipedia is not a
valid source for academic research.
It can provide a very useful place to start because it often lists good sources for further research,
but it should not be used as a source itself.
