For this course, we have been working toward a big research paper and the professor has us doing small free writing exercises to prepare us for peer-reviewing so the second question is focused on what we should be doing when reviewing a peer’s work and what are helpful tips and suggestions we can use on our own papers.
Professor’s Prompt:
This writing exercise is designed to help you consider the practice of reviewing content. Please write two paragraphs for this response.
In the first paragraph try and think of the last thing that you experienced which you’ve expressed an opinion about – a movie, a book, a television show, a restaurant, a concert, etc. Please describe what went into the formation of your opinion about that thing.
In the second paragraph please write what you think should go into reviewing someone’s tech history project. What do you think would be helpful items to look out for and give suggestions about? How would you want someone to review your own paper?
