You may enter your rough draft of your final essay in the Assignment folder, and I will review it. I will be checking this folder regularly and making my response to you a priority because I want to help you to write the best essay that you can for the final assignment. We will be working together to compose a final essay together.
I have attached two examples of well written student essays. Take a look at them and use them as a model to write your own. Notice that the essays are formatted according to MLA formatting requirements and that they contain incorporated sources as support for the writers’ claims. Moreover, the essays include one opposition paragraph, just before the end of the essay. The opposition paragraph takes a look at the opposing view of the writer and sets forth the case of the opposition. You need to write at least one opposition paragraph. In essence, your essay will take on the following form:

Opening paragraphs

Body of Essay
(Support your claim. You are writing a persuasive essay, so help us to believe what you believe. Use your sources to support your claim. This is where you use your sources. 3-5 paragraphs
Opposition paragraph
Include what the opposition says about your topic. I will help you by offering you an opposing view if you cannot develop one. You might want to use a source here in this paragraph to present the opposing view. 1 paragraph
Result Paragraph 1 paragraph
Do not use In conclusion to close an essay or a discussion of art and ideas; in studying the humanities our conversations and discussions are always ongoing; we never conclude such discussions.
Just offer us your final word on your topic. The Result paragraph delivers the reader the result of your study. In other words, offer us a closing comment that leaves us knowing where you stand.
