This week we continue our intense focus on essays as we write a comparison and contrast essay about three pieces of fruit: apples, oranges, and bananas. The emphasis again for this essay is DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS, and more DETAILS.
First, your prewriting is to take separate pieces of paper for each and write down EVERYTHING you know and observe (and can even Google) about each: shape, size, color, texture, smell, taste, EVERYTHING. Analyze each fruit in detail as to where grown, how used, seeds or no seeds, EVERYTHING.
Then compare and contrast these three pieces of fruits in a comparison and contrast essay due midnight Sunday.
