This week, you will apply your readings of the various theories that impact growth and development to health. For this paper, select one of the theories discussed in Chapter 5 of vour textbook: • Fred’s Psychoanalytical Theory • Freud’s Defense Mechanisms • Erikson’s Psychosocial Theory Piaget’s Theory of Cognitive Development Kohlbere’s Theory of Moral Development • Maslow’s Theory of Human Needs Once you have selected a theory, you will provide a thorough analysis of how that theory is connected to healthcare, health outcomes, and/or individual health behaviors. You must use a minimum of 3 peer-reviewed references in your research. As always, you can use the following databases to find peer-reviewed articles for your research:

Your assignment submission should be at least 3 pages, double spaced, 12-point font, and
cohesive (i.e. not separated by the questions asked, not a list, etc.). It should contain proper
grammar, be free of spelling errors, and reflect critical thinking. Be sure to write the paper in
APA format and include the citations for your sources. Please see the APA Paper Template
for assistance with the formatting of your paper. Review the rubric PRIOR to completing the
assignment for more information on what is expected. Be sure that you are
