The purpose of this assignment is for you to design a home studio for remote interpreting. You will choose what type of remote interpreting you want to prepare for (OPI, VRI or RSI) and then write up and present two plans: 1) a home studio with minimal investment (say, up to $200) and 2) a home studio you would love to have if money were available (say, up to $2000). You can be creative with how you present this. Regardless of format, your presentations must include:
What type of remote interpreting you chose and why
Descriptive specs for the equipment (brand, model number, size (when applicable), etc.)
Cost for each component and total cost
Illustrations of your current space and what it would look like in each plan
Reasons and process for your equipment and/or layout choices
