This long essay will work as an opportunity for you to teach me what you have learned about this section from the lectures, the readings, and your own research on the aspects of this section that have interested you. This essay will be a minimum of 6 pages, double spaced, in Times New Roman size 12 font, and include full citations in the style of your choice.
You should have the following:
A compelling introduction that introduces your reader to the topic at hand and explains what you have learned (or the most important parts of this section).
Topic – The Philippine-American War
Body paragraphs that dig deeper into the various perspectives and events within the section.
A closing section that reiterated the points you have made and explains why this topic is important.
Feel free to conduct independent research to expand on aspects of this section you found of particular interest. The first-person narrative is appropriate in the introduction of an essay, but not in the body or conclusion sections. Be sure to include ALL of the readings in your essay.
