Hunting down market information (particularly current market data) can be challenging so here are a few suggestions on where you might start your search (note: All are available on-line);
1. UNCTAD REVIEW OF MARITIME TRANSPORT (2020). This is an excellent publication that is published annually. The 2020 edition has market data current to around mid 2020.
2. BIMCO. Although full access to BIMCO news reports and market trends requires membership there is still a significant amount of information available in the public domain. The site is www.bimco.org
3. Clarksons. You won’t be able to access their full market reports due to membership restrictions, however, partial reports are often available to non-members. https://www.clarksons.com
4. Market Analysis Webinar. Peter Sand, Chief Shipping Analyst for BIMCO, delivers quarterly shipping market webinars which are excellent. The latest webinar was June , 2021 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DyqWrM08aY)

6. Lloyds List. Very expensive to subscribe to but once again non-members have access to a fair bit of information. Home :: Lloyd’s List (informa.com)
7. Shipping company websites. Many companies, such as Teekay Shipping, post regular market insights / news releases.
