This order has two questions in this assignment, each must be 4 pages long

Each question requires you to think critically about the Global South in international relations. For each question identify the key issues of debate, formulate an argument, and defend that argument using relevant examples. Be sure to clearly explain all key concepts.

Question 1 is
Is the concept of the ‘Global South’ (or ‘third world’, ‘developing countries’) still valid or useful in contemporary world politics? Why or why not? In your answer, specify what you mean by ‘valid/useful’ and the criteria you use to make your assessment.

Question 2 is
Many issues on the contemporary international agenda involve differences or disagreement between
the Global South and Global North. In your answer identify two important sources or areas of such
disagreement and discuss the key issues of debate and prospects for resolution. Provide appropriate
examples to support your arguments
