Module 6 Discussion
This week’s discussion is designed to help you with the prewriting stages of your analysis paper. Here is what you will do:

1.First, read the Paper 2 Assignment and begin engaging in the prewriting process we discussed this week. Free write, brainstorm, list–whatever helps you get ideas out is good.
2.Try to write about all seven of the analysis categories to get a sense of what you might be able to write about. (Topic, Organization, Audience, Tone, Diction, Bias/Missing Information, Use of logos/ethos/pathos)
3.Then create an outline using the guidelines we discussed this week. Include a working thesis.
Using the outline, write four possible quotes that you will use based on the categories you chose. For example: if you decide on Tone: find one sentence in the article that illustrates the Tone used in the text. 4.Lastly, reply to your classmates as directed.
