1. To what extent can the ‘mainstream’ organization and management studies be applied to understanding innovation in public services? Are there distinctive elements of innovation by PSOs that are outside the range of this existing literature?
2. Consider the typology of innovation in public services in Figure 7.2 from the assigned chapter of our textbook. Consider what the different challenges are for PSO managers of developmental change compared to innovation. Be sure to provide examples!
