Understanding news writing is critical to the PR writer. As such, for this first assignment you will write a news article. However, there is a twist. Rather than attend an event and cover it as a reporter, youll be allowed to pick a reality competition TV show and report the episode viewed as your news. Example shows include: Making It, Sugar Rush, Chopped, Cupcake Wars, anything where there is a winner at the end of the episode, or a contestant is eliminated. If you have questions about whether or not your episode selected qualifies, please consult with your professor.
