Violence Against Women during the Pandemic

I have already written the introduction and got feedback from the professor. He stated the following: “This is a good start, but you need to respond to the article in a more detailed way regarding HOW you agree, disagree, or agree up to a certain point with it, and then offer a thesis argument that takes a stance against the article regarding your own original interpretation of some narrow aspect of the issue, that adds something new to the discussion” AND this was my intro:
“Violence against women increased drastically during the pandemic all across Canada. The news article, Activists urge government to address root causes of violence against women: YWCA Toronto, shelters note domestic violence increase during pandemic (states “The Assaulted Women’s Helpline, a 24-hour crisis phone line for women experiencing abuse in Ontario, has reported a 400-per-cent increase in calls during the pandemic. A recent survey of women’s shelters across Canada found increases in the frequency and severity of domestic violence during the pandemic” (Toronto Star, 2020, Dec. 06). As stated in the article, the root cause of increase in violence against women in Ontario during the pandemic has been isolation and lack of access to the outlets where they would find relief (Toronto Star, 2020, Dec. 06)”.

We were required to submit our introduction and choose an article to which we had to base our introduction on. This was the

Do you mind molding my introduction paragraph into what my professor wants as well as finishing the rest of the essay. I have to use 4 other sources apart from my main that I have mentioned above.
