This is a 500 word paper, written by you, about a weather event/situation that YOU experienced. I don’t want to know about the event (i.e., stats on Hurricane Irma)! I want the story from your perspective. However, if stats do support your story, then feel free to cite that information properly, whichever format you chose is fine. However, there should be VERY little need for citing.
