Were China, Europe, and the Islamic states in early modern times more similar or dissimilar? How?

In the early modern times China, Europe and the Islamic states were similar yet at the same time different. They all have their own beliefs and religions. The traditional culture and religions were very important to the Chinese. An example will be Confucianism, “Confucius taught that China’s troubles were rooted in the failure of its people and leaders to understand and act according to the rules of proper conduct” (The Human Record, Ch 4 pg 101). On the other hand, in the Islamic world they have a monotheistic religion but also share characteristics such as Judaism and Christianity. They believed about the God of Abraham, in this case Mohammed was the last prophet. “There is no God, and Muhammad is the Prophet of God.” (The Human Record, Ch 2 pg 52). Moreover, the muslims were expected to accept that the Quran is the sacred text and it is the words of God. They were teached to say daily prayers, perform charity work, and fast in the month of Ramadanm. Even though the beliefs of the Chinese and people of the Islamic world were not the same, they had political views very similar to each other.
In the Chinese civilization, there were direct and indirect means to run the country and the emperors would overly control the whole system. The people were divided by groups with specific functions including: Scholar officials, peasants, artisans and merchants. Also, in the Islamic world they will use these kinds of direct and indirect methods. They were divided by three regional empires including the Ottoman, Safavid, Mughal. All of them had strong rulers who had contributions from economic to political and military factors. Unlike China but like the Islamic World, Europe also had their emphasis on the religious community. Their religion was Christianity, here they believed that Jesus was not only prophet but the Son of God. The church was the holy instrument to serve as a communication between humans and God.
