Discuss transpartisan groups, both as they pertain to the interviews
you are conducting and in a more general sense. Consider the following questions as you prepare for
class discussion: What are the foundational premises of transpartisan dialogue groups? Be able to name
at least three. To what degree do you see transpartisanship on our campus? How about in your
interviews? Have you participated in any of these groups? What would make you want to (or not want
to) participate in a group like this? Should we add a question or two about transpartisanship to our final
interview instrument?
