What are the occurrence of the health problem in terms of incidence/prevalence?

A. Background of the Health Problem
Provide an overview as to why the selected health topic, in general, is a public health problem. The background
section frames the issue’s significance. Include relevant figures and tables (not required) in the Appendix.
1. Characterize the significance of the health problem at the national, regional, and/or state levels, supported by
appropriate statistics and indicators.
2. Emphasize the overall impact that the health problem has on health (morbidity/mortality) and cost to society.
3. Highlight how widespread the health problem is for your particular target population:
a. What are the occurrence of the health problem in terms of incidence/prevalence?
b. Are there marked disparities in occurrence of the health problem for the target population when
compared to other demographic groups or state/national statistics?

B. Administrative and Policy Assessment
This section will “look in” at the agency’s capacity for successful program implementation, as well as “look out” at
community resources that are available to address the problem (or highlight gaps that need filled if resources are
limited). This section will include:
1. Organizational Capacity: describe current organizational resources, skills, expertise, and/or community trust
that advocate for this organization as the ideal recipient of a grant for the proposed program; and
2. Community Analysis: assess current community programs, partnerships, services, resources to address the
need and existing gaps that need to be bridged.

These are the only 2 parts i need to be answered. Part A will be a total of 2 pages while Part B should be around 1 page. I need a thorough analysis of the issue of Asthma in Fresno, CA, and more specifically The Bluffs neighborhood if you need to specify more but research from that area will suffice. The target population is adolescents aged 6-12.
For Part B, our organization you have to analyze for B1 is the Central California Asthma Collaborative. You can analyze previous programs they have put in place for asthma and say why the CCAC would be a good fit to fund our proposed program (dont have to go into detail about our program). Then talk about what the community in Fresno has in place to mitigate Asthma, and talk about what our proposed program can help contribute to bridge that gap between organization and community.
