What are the origins of this ideology?

The Political Compass is extraordinary in that it allows us to dive into the psyche of ideological thought and premise, within every human being on the Planet Earth. As you know already, based on the readings and by the stuff going on in American Politics today, one of the biggest misconceptions the average American Voter has is being able to differentiate the major differences between Partisanship (Political Party) and Ideology (Political Thought). The Political Compass has four distinct quadrants. They are in order as follows: Capitalism, Communism, Anarchism, and Libertarianism. All four of these particular ideologies shape up the world we live in on a daily basis, and are the primary principles of political thought that have created the boundaries of many nations over the course of time. Capitalism being an ideological design focused primarily on the concept of private ownership and profits. Communism being the ideological concept created by Karl Marx in that the Capitalist system was corrupt and would lead to the profits over people mentality, therefore the state needed to have ownership of the means of production. Alternatively, as we fall lower down the A-L scale (North and South measurement) we begin to see this shift in thought as the concept of Anarchism begins emerge. Specifically, Anarchism is the collective ownership of goods, societal needs, or anything else without the means of any higher authority (Ancient Native American Tribes would be like this). Finally, Libertarianism. The ideology that separates the government fully away from any economic interference, maximizing private ownership of the means of production to the individual with the government being small enough to fit in your daily coffee.
