What are the specific identities that overlap or intersect to make the population you are
studying vulnerable to health risks and/or poor health outcomes? (e.g., poor Black female; single
mother; undocumented youth; rural Latinas; trans-women of color; rural poor; elderly women, etc).
Are there subgroups and identities within your population that you are studying who go or have
gone unnoticed? Have you considered: transpeople, youth, women, the elderly, persons with
disability, immigrants, Indigenous Peoples, formerly incarcerated, minorities, incarcerated persons,
sex workers, et al.?
How may the risks and health outcomes you identified change when you then take into
consideration these subgroups?
